The total value of the scholarship is approx $11,000. Scholarship funds are not guaranteed and you do not receive any balance if removed from the program. You will be asked to interview if selected to the finalist round. If selected after the interview, you must accomplish training at the Williamsburg Flight Center.

If selected, the scholarship ends: 1. when you pass the Private Pilot flight exam (maximum of 50 flight hours funded and a maximum of 12 months to complete the course) or 2. you exhibit substandard performance in flying or academics.

You are willing to dedicate the time and make the effort to become a pilot in the next 12 months.

You will adhere to a rigorous ground training and flying schedule without slighting school academics.

Recommendations *

Two (2) recommendations are required (from teachers, counselors, and coaches, for example.) Recommendations from non-family members are preferred. These recommendations must be created separately from this website application and emailed to Waspkjgg@gmail.com. The recommendations must be no more than 500 words each, detailing why the candidate is the right person for this scholarship and why he/she will be successful in the program. Please also include information on the candidate's demonstrated desire to pursue a career in aviation.
