The total value of the scholarship is approx $11,000. Scholarship funds are not guaranteed and you do not receive any balance if removed from the program. You will be asked to interview if selected to the finalist round. If selected after the interview, you must accomplish training at the Williamsburg Flight Center.
If selected, the scholarship ends: 1. when you pass the Private Pilot flight exam (maximum of 50 flight hours funded and a maximum of 12 months to complete the course) or 2. you exhibit substandard performance in flying or academics.
You are willing to dedicate the time and make the effort to become a pilot in the next 12 months.
You will adhere to a rigorous ground training and flying schedule without slighting school academics.
The WASP website is an important feature of this program. You approve of your photo being uploaded to the site.
At times, instructors, WASP board members, or the website master may contact you with a question. You will respond in a timely manner.
