Boeing anticipates a need for 800,000 pilots over the next 20 years, which the U.S. can't meet.
That, combined with the exceedingly high cost to become a pilot, prohibits kids from pursuing the industry.
Which results in a dire need for programs like WASP to fund kids who wish, yet can't afford, to become pilots.
WASP Only Exists Because of Donors' Generosity
The Williamsburg Aviation Scholarship Program relies on the donations of citizens, both local and nationwide, to fund the academic and flying instruction necessary for each student to receive a pilot's license. Each scholarship is valued at over $11,000. Without altruistic charitable contributions from people like YOU, this program would cease to exist. Thank you so much for opening your heart to enable our local youth to pursue the career of their dreams.
